Winter Coffee Drink Menu
We’re in the holiday spirit here at Iris Coffee, and we’ve taken inspiration from nostalgic flavors and seasonal produce to create our winter menu this year. Our housemade Persimmon vanilla bean syrup is back, plus a couple new festive syrup options. Whatever drink you choose, you can expect authentic, delicious flavors that pair perfectly with our freshly roasted espresso.

gingerbread man latte
Our Gingerbread Syrup was the subject of much trial and error this year. We wanted this latte to feature some sweetness like the classic gingerbread cookie, but still have the spicy zip that comes with real ginger. We tried ginger in powder, liquid, dried, and fresh forms, plus experimented with molasses, spices, vanilla and more before landing on this tasty syrup. With cinnamon-y sweetness and a hint of spicy ginger aftertaste, this new latte is one of our favorites this season.

egg nog tres leches latte
Eggnog: some people love it; some people hate it. For those who love it, we’ve created the creamiest, most delicious coffee creation we could imagine. We start with just a touch of caramel with a fresh shot of espresso, followed by a thick mixture of eggnog and whole milk. We’ve combined real vanilla beans and cane sugar with heavy cream to create a fluffy vanilla foam that sits on top of the drink, completed with a dash of our spice mixture - cinnamon, cloves, nutmeg, ginger and more.

persimmon latte
A returning favorite! Persimmon isn’t a common fruit, but we think it’s underrated. It ripens in the late fall to early winter, making it a perfect seasonal choice. It doesn’t have an overwhelming flavor, but the Fuyu Persimmons we use have a subtle sweetness and fruity flavor - similar to a date or peach, with notes of cinnamon and honey. We chop these persimmons up and cook them down with vanilla beans, cinnamon sticks, and a little bit of candied ginger to create our delicious syrup.
